Privacy Policy

Card Dealer is a plugin for FigJam and Miro that lets facilitators deal cards from a deck onto a workshop canvas. Both versions are available to install for free; the FigJam version via the Figma Community and the Miro version via a direct installation link on this website.

This policy covers two things: this website, and the Card Dealer plugins themselves. They are described separately below because they handle data differently.

This website

This website uses GoatCounter for basic, anonymous analytics — page views and referrer information. GoatCounter does not set cookies and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. No data is shared with advertising networks or third parties.

Email sign-up

This website includes an optional sign-up field where you can leave your email address to be notified when new Card Dealer features are released. Submitting this form is entirely voluntary.

If you sign up:

• Your email address is collected and stored with Netlify, accessible only to the developer.
• It will be used only to send you occasional updates about new Card Dealer features.
• It will not be shared with third parties or used for any other purpose.
• You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing carddealerplugin@pm.me, or by replying with the word "Unsubscribe" to any email we send you from this mailing list. Your address will be deleted promptly on request.

The plugins

The current versions of the FigJam and Miro plugins collect no personal data.

Specifically:

• The plugins do not transmit any data to external servers. All processing happens locally within your FigJam or Miro session.
• The FigJam plugin has no network access. This is enforced at the platform level via the plugin manifest.
• The Miro plugin stores a small amount of state in your Miro board's local storage (your selected deck and deal settings). This data stays within Miro and is not accessible to the developer.
• No analytics, tracking, or usage data is collected by the plugins.
• No account, registration, or personal information is required to use either plugin.

What data we may collect in future

Card Dealer is in active development. A planned future version will optionally allow you to use a companion web platform to access more functionality. This will require an account, and will involve collecting and storing a small amount of personal data necessary for delivering the service.

This policy will be updated before any such data collection begins.

Third-party platforms

Using Card Dealer within FigJam or Miro means your data is also subject to the privacy policies of those platforms. This policy covers only what Card Dealer itself collects.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data held about you. The only personal data currently held is email addresses submitted via the sign-up form, and only where you have chosen to provide one. For any queries, contact carddealerplugin@pm.me.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the plugin develops. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last changed.
